Grilled Shrimp

We try to have seafood at least once a week in our house.  It’s light and so quick to cook for an easy meal.  This is a shrimp marinade we like for the grill.

Grilled Shrimp Ingredients

For this recipe, you will need a pound of raw shrimp.  I like the Argentine wild red shrimp they sell at Trader Joe’s.  It’s naturally sweet and already deveined and unshelled.

For the marinade:

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Line up the shrimp on a soaked bamboo skewer and place on medium high heated, sprayed grill.

Let the shrimp grill about 4 minutes per side.

We like to serve this one with a cabbage salad and some roasted sweet potatoes.  Enjoy!
