Bacon Maple Brussel Sprouts

This dish is a way to get everyone to eat their brussel sprouts.  Bacon makes everything better, and that’s just emphasized by the sweet maple glaze.

Bacon Maple Brussel Sprouts Ingredients

Set oven to 400 degrees.  For easy cleanup, line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or use a baking sheet.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts trimmed and cut in half lengthwise
  • 6 strips thick-cut bacon, cut into pieces
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Mix all ingredients in a bowl to coat evenly, then lay out on sheet pan.  

Bacon Maple Brussel Sprouts

Roast for 20-30 minutes.  Keep an eye on the pan towards the end of the timing as time will depend on the size of your sprouts.  Once the dish is done, season with additional salt/pepper as needed.  Enjoy!
